The Social Forestry department of the Kerala Forst department has an office in the heart of Kochi, in Edappally. Only those who are connected with the forest knows where the office is. No one else knows that such an office is functioning in Kochi. But the Social Forestry department has a sign board placed along the Aluva Ernakulam National Highway to tell the commuters about the location of their office in the metro city. But one has to clear the foliage of a tree to make the sign board visible. Forest depart does everything the way mother nature accepts.
